The Great Plateau

The Great Plateau is a huge mass of flat land spreading as far as the eye can see. This mass of land floats freely over an infinite abyss by some unknown cause. On the Plateau one can find a mix of all types of terrain and climate from Earth. The closer to the center of the landmass one gets the warmer and more humid it is. However, some areas are sprawling deserts of stone and sand, but the deserts are few and far between. As one travels further towards the “edge” of the plateau it gets colder and at the very edge large frozen glaciers and snow covered wastelands can be found. The environmental conditions at the edge come close to the environment at the Antarctica on Earth. If one continues past the edge, one enters the infinite Abyss. There are no seas on the plateau; instead the entire landmass is dotted by a huge number of lakes both large and small in size. At the center of the Plateau stands Valhalla, the city of the Demonic.
