The air was thick with the smell of cherry blossoms. The sky was blue, welcoming, unlike most things on Earth now. Birds sang their songs into the sweet-smelling air. This would have been a a normal day for those men and women of Earth, if today had been yesterday. Yesterday when the world was at peace, and there wasn't so much bloodshed.
A small woman was perched up high in a tree branch. She was looking up at the sky, breathing in slowly. Flashes of torture and screaming rung in her ears, and she groaned as she jumped down from the tree. Time to get to work.
Asia was one of the safest places to live nowadays. Yet, it still had it's ups and downs. More Tainted lived here than anything else, and they were mostly the peaceful type. Aries sighed as she sauntered past people, and down a dirt road.
The woman wore an army uniform. The normal camo for when going out on missions. She's just gotten back from one. It'd been tiring as usual, but she disregarded that fact and went on with her duties. Trucks passed Aries as she walked the side of the dirt road up towards a large army base in the middle of nowhere. Soldiers on their morning jogs stopped to salute and then run on.
as she made her way inside of the base she nodded to some soldiers who instantly stood at attention as she entered. They relaxed, and went on with their duties.
"Colonel. The General for the Special Ops Squad is to be here. It's the new General, not the old one. He has no idea who I am, and lets keep it that way for now." Aries muttered as she stepped in front of the Colonel.
He nodded, and started to stammer "Y-y-yes ma'am."
Aries passed him and staggered into her office. She settled herself into her chair and began looking over reports from past missions. Aries sighed, and looked up at the clock. 2:16pm. The day was March 2. Today was the one year anniversary of Moscow...

Daimon was unique... He was strange, mysterious and everyone knew of him. He was already practically a war hero and for what? His guilt ate him and he felt it tear at his heart as he ran his fingers through his raven black hair. He was in a chopper bound for a certain point in Asia in which he didn't care. He was told he would be meeting some one. He cared not who they were, he was simply there to meet them. It was the military's lovely system of need to know basis. It was obviously not a dangerous mission as to he had no members of his Platoon with him.
The army was strange to him. They cared to much for his life. It was rather annoying. He bit his lip lightly as the pilot landed. Blood ran down his lip as he got out of the chopper. "Sir we've arrived at the base." The man muttered. Daimon shot him a glance before lightly running his fingers over the hilt of his gun. "What exactly did they tell you?" He asked the pilot. The man smiled. "Sir, They told me not to tell you, regardless of orders." Daimon shrugged. "Ok, See ya in a bit kid." Daimon mused the man was his age. He looked around noting all the soldiers and they all seemed in awe of him.
"What no formal welcome?" He spoke outloud as he walked past them. They revered him, they knew of him. He was famous for throwing himself into the heat of battle, uncaring to sacrafice himself to get the job done. The colonel was the first to meet him. The man saluted. "Sir, Please follow me." Daimon saluted back and they dropped their salutes. "Whatever Colonel just hurry up, Im getting bored." Daimon spoke lightly before walking with the man.
He walked through the base until he reached an office. He opened the door. The person was waiting for him after all. Knocking would be pointless. He walked in and noticed the girl. "Are you the one I am suppose to meet?" He asked her as he stood there looking at her with his complex eyes. "Forgive me for not addressing you by rank, if your a superior officer I apologize, If not then simply tell me why I was called here." He truly wondered who this girl was, and what was her interest in him and his division. She was obviously an officer. She also had the look of combat about her..

Aries looked up as Daimon walked into the room. She motioned towards the door and is shut behind him, without him having to touch it. "Ah, General Daimon Cross. It's a pleasure." the females German accent flourished heavily through her words. She rose to her feet, a cold smile on her features.
"I am Director Randalle. I run the Tainted Light Program." she mused towards him. Only those who knew her other name knew who she truly was. Few people realized that "General Feuer" was actually a female. everyone always pictured a strapping young man who looked ready to take on anything and everything. So she just went by the title of Director.
She stepped towards him, pulling her arm up into a salute before dropping her hand and shrugging off her camo jacket. "You'll have to forgive me. I've just returned from a mission." she said softly. She draped her jacket over a hook on a hangar, and then turned back to him. Her belt was fitted with not only her katana and dagger, but also her revolver. She stood in front of him now.
"I'd like to formally welcome you into the project. It's unfortunate that the other General's could not join us today. But I've asked you to come, due to a proposition that I have for -" she was cut off the the sounding PA system. She stood still, listening to the man on the other end.
"General Randalle, Platoon Two has just returned from their mission. They've had heavy casualties. South America's forests have become infested with Demonic."
Aries nodded slowly, "Thank you, Captain Lockwood. Is that all?" When the Captain confirmed that it was all, the PA system shut down, and Aries looked back to Daimon. "As I was saying. I have a proposition for you."

Daimon saluted her. "Thank you mam." he said. His voice was that same uncaring voice, she could have been god and he would have spoken to her in the same monotone voice as if he cared for nothing. He merely smiled at her formal behavior. She was generic to him. He had heard of her of course... He had heard she was brutal he wondered for himself if she would take a knife and stab it through his hand if he had not saluted her. He almost chuckled but did not, nor did he show any sense of amusement.
"A proposition mam?" He asked lightly. "I am your subordinate, simply tell me what you need done and it will be done. No need to make deals with me, though if you wanna throw in a bonus to my paycheck I can always use the money." He smiled. "Mam, I thank you for the position you've given me. I am here to kill demonic, its my very reason for being. I'm rather fanatical if you will." He spoke gently now, his eyes peirced her with their blue glow. They were intense, seeing directly into her soul with their ever horribly exposing gaze.
"My men are well trained, We will not fail where your other subordiantes have." He pointed out. He had realized the captain had failed. That platoon was likely over run with demonic and it was unlikely many of them survived. It was a waste of men. He looked at her waiting for her proposistion, waiting for her to tell him she wanted him to go and kill those beasts. Delicately he played with the iron in his glove. It was not part of the uniform but Officers normally altered their uniforms in some manner these days. It was simply popular to do so. He watched her intently.
"Mam, Do you intend to send me to South America? I hear its lovely this time of year." He spoke delicately with a darker tone as if he was ready. Daimon was different then other men. Other men feared their own shadow Daimon embraced his shadow and used its darkness to dillude his enemies, he feared nothing for fear was what killed his parents. his own fear had destroyed him and he would never let it happen again. It annoyed him to the point that he became suicidal. He delicately moved the iron around in his glove. She likely couldn't see it because he was not squeezing his hand, he was manipulating the iron with his mind.

"I'll just be straight forward here. I want you to lead the Special Ops Platoon." she said coldly. She backed up and leaned against her desk. She lifted herself a bit, and sat on the edge of it. She was a tiny female. Her body was lithe and very limber. She was wearing a pair of black leather gloves. She had to wear them, or any person she touched would be stunned from moving. Paralyzed for moments on end.
She smiled coldly at him. "I've seen your file. It shows that you are an Enhanced Human. Able to control metal, heightened strength, and speed...very nice." she mused now, smirking still. She picked up a file off her own desk, and handed it to him.
Inside was all the information on her. Her full name, the names that the army had given her (General AER, General Feuer, Feuer, Director Randalle, General Randalle), her birth date, her medical conditions (the only one of them being PTSD), and medical procedures that had been done to her (including the replacement of her left arm with a prosthetic one when it was ripped off in Moscow, the Enhancement procedure done to her as well). Her own powers were heightened speed, pyromania, tele kenisis, and stunning through touch.
"If you accept, you will be answering to me and only me. You will take only my orders, and you will do as I say. You will be my closest subordinate. You will work with me most of the time, and with your Platoon when you are ordered to. Your men all seem to be able to take care of themselves on missions." she mused now, watching him with deep green eyes.

He opened the file. His eyes turned cold as he saw what she was a survivor of Moscow. He was a coward. He was a coward... He felt warm blood dripping down his hands as he remembered his parents being torn to shreads as he ran. He simply ran. HE ran to save himself and let them die. The horror of it seemed to antagonize him. The blood was not real, it was in his mind and he pushed the thought away. "You were there... on that day." He spoke softly. "Please let us not talk about it, Ill simply say that I was there to." He spoke gently.
"Very well I accept your offer." He spoke with a colder voice. It was the voice of a killer, not the same nonchalant uncaring sarcastic voice that had spoken to her earlier. It was the voice of Daimon before he sliced a demonic to shreds. It was his voice before he destroyed an entire city. He looked at her now. "I control metal, yes... As you control fire, very simple and very effective. we were created as tools and thats how I view my life. I ask that you view my life in the same way. " He looked at her.
"I ask that you treat me like a sword. I ask that we do not become friends mam. I ask that you dispose of me and put me in the most brutal areas so that eventually I will die. It is what I wish most mam. You were there that day... You know how it was... Mam... I did something very dishonerable that day, something I will not speak of to you. I see this as my opprotunity to redeem myself and regardless of the mission I will succeed where all others fail. I care nothing for my own well being." He looked at her with this same peircing cold blue eyes that could tear the soul of an angel from its fragile body. His demonic nature.
"Accept and I will be your general, I will be your go to guy. I will get whatever you require done." He looked at her with his peircing gaze. "Mam, I will be your sword against the demonic. " He spoke with a more ambitious voice now. This was his opportunity to fight. His one chance at redemption. He could not fail. He would not fail.

Aries looked up at him. He was much taller than she, and she took note of that. She was only 5 feet 4 inches tall, and he was 6 feet. She wasn't intimidated, and it wasn't uncommon. She hopped down off the top of her desk and stepped towards him. She held out her hand to him, encouraging him to shake her hand now. It would seal the deal between them.
The hand she held out was the prosthetic one. It was made of a metal conceived from the Demonics own armor. She was testing him to see what would happen with his controlling of metal, and her left arm. She gave a cold smirk now, almost grinning.
"I shall treat you like I do every other soldier I lead. Like the tool you are." she mused coldly now, a hint of sadistic humor on her features. She was thoroughly enjoying this. And it showed.

"Good." He clasp her metal hand uncaring. He knew it was metal, and it mattered not to him. His cold blue eyes peirced her with their cruelty. He blinked for a moment before letting go of her hand. "Well Director, there is much work to be done isnt there?" He leaned against the wall now. Watching her intently waiting for her orders, waiting for her to tell him something useful. Daimon watched her waiting for her to show weakness, he loved seeing the weakness in those around him.
He had seen none in her yet, but it would show. His own weakness showed, not yet but it would show to her. He ran his hand through his hair rather causually fixing it. "So shall we skip formalities and perhaps you can allow me to have my first taste of combat with the Unit. Send me to South America and I will get the job done where others have failed. I'll take out the demonic in that area, all I require is my own platoon and reserve forces from the army. (not the special forces.) He smiled. He chuckled. "Your other men may be failures but you can count on your new spec op force." He mused.

She smirked at him now. "Work to be done. Yes. There is much, but I'm not sending you out with my men. You and I are both going to be scouting the Great Wall, here in China, because there is also a massive infestation there. I'd rather stay close to home for now. I've got a couple remaining men in South America, whom of which will never fail." she mused now.
Aries suddenly turned rigid, and turned quickly as the window behind her broke and a single Demonic jumped through. It spotted Aries and gave a hungry growl. Aries couldn't help but laugh. The sadistic laugh of a murderer. She pulled off both of her gloves and dropped them to the floor.
By the time they hit the wood, she was behind the Demonic, her flesh hand against it's back. A flash of terror actually crossed the Demonic features, as it realized that it couldn't move. Aries's sword slid out of the sheathe without her even touching it and it lodged itself through the head of the monster. In the next instant Aries had taken a place next to Daimon, looking satisfied, right as the demonic burst into flames and turned straight into ash.
"Ah, I made a mess," she mused, "Oh well, it isn't the first time this has happened. It's always just one little Demonic though. I don't get it. I miss the hordes of them that you meet when in combat. It's so fun." she mused, looking entertained by her own self-conversation.

Damion looked at her with his blue eyes as if she were a demonic herself. He raised a eyebrow. "Sad your men cant even stop one little intruder." He mused. He leaned up against the wall watching her. "but you look like your capable of handling yourself. Regardless Ide be honored to go with you to the wall. We going alone? I cant protect you director." He smiled at her, half expecting her to hit him for saying it but Daimon was honest, he knew she could protect her self but supperior officers normally expected their men to jump in front of bullets for them. Daimon didnt care about his supperiors lives.
She was just another officer to him. He smirked as he stretched slightly. He had not even been surpised by the demonic, he always expected them... He could taste their blood on his lips as he looked down at the Ash. "Im never going to get used to the smell of buring demonic." He sounded slightly sick. He merely looked at her before laughing a little. "Oh well, I guess I should get used to it, considering the fact your likely to burn a 100 more in my precense today. So anyway Director, shall we have a breifing before the mission? I would love to know the details of taking the great wall of china." He smiled.

"Mhm, mhm." she mused when he asked about a briefing. She traveled quickly around to the other side of her desk. All of the glass that settled on the desk rose up into the air, and ejected itself out of the window and outside. At times she didn't even realize she was using her powers. It just came naturally to her.
She picked up her jacket and pulled it back on. "Well, a large colony of Demonic have settled themselves all around the Great Wall. We've got to eradicate them before they devastate the population of humans that settle there." she noted coldly, pulling open a drawer and pulling out a new gun, dagger, and sword. These were all made of the same metal a Demonics armor was made of as well. She replaced the other weapons on her belt, and placed the new weapons in their place.
These were the normal weapons. She just carried around weaker ones, because they were just as effective with terrifying her soldiers as the ones she used in combat. She pulled the blade slightly from the sheathe. The blade was as black as night, and shimmered a dark violet as the light glistened on it.

"cool." He mused. "So how many are we looking at? 100? 200? 300?" He sounded happily excited like a child at this point. He let his hands fall down to his side as he watched her with intent like he was ready to attack anything and everything that wasnt human. His eyes glowed like they were stars in the vessel of a dead corpse. He watched her with such intrigue, such enthusiasm that it was inspiring. He had a strange precense about him that made everything feel like it was alright.
This was of course due to his own insanity. He looked out the window not even caring that she fixed it. He was so used to abilities, he had seen so many of them, it was the same as if she picked all the shards up and glued them back together, it was irrelevant. His gloved fingers moved over the handle of his gun only slightly playing with the silver. He liked the touch of the metal. He watched her before pulling out a bullet in his hand. "Demonic poison... it hurts to touch with bare hands for those like us, it destroys demonic DNA. You want a case?" He smiled.
He turned around facing the door now. "Well anyway Director, shall we get going?" He muttered innocently. He fixed his hair again. He cared about how he looked and daimon ensured he always looked perfect. Perfection was bliss and he was not perfect in anyway except for apperance. One may say he looked like he was a good leader, solid and reliable, but in reality he was merely crazy. He chuckled at the thought. "Director, one question, if you were to die would you care?" He asked her, not even turning around as he spoke. He had opened the door and soldiers were rushing by the room in the hall, in their Class B uniforms and their army combat uniforms. Daimon wore a special operations uniform, black. He chuckled to himself carelessly.

She listened to his offer, and merely shook her head, saying "Nah, mine explode." she mused. She turned to look at him now, her green eyes looking him up and down. "Suit into camo. We've figured out that it's hard for Demonic to see a range of colors in a single fabric." she mused now.
She stepped towards him, and then stopped when he asked the new question. "No, I could care less what happens to me." she said coldly, looking rather sadistic now. The thought of a battle excited her, and she wanted to feel that Demonic's blood on her skin. She bit her lip, grinning. "Lets go." she mused now, stepping past time. Every soldier in the hallway instantly pressed up against the wall, and looked down as Aries past. She chucked to herself now, ah this was amusing.

"Yea... I know how their eyes work... I want them to see me... at times I'm to fast and I fear they dont get to see my face before I tear into them." He had hoped to avoid sounding insane but that was life and he was insane so who cared. He stretched slightly. He walked with her uncaring to as her men feared her. He had no fear of her for he feared nothing, death would come to him soon and he prayed for it to come to him. He hated life, he hated living and he hated remembering each day that he was a coward. Looking the mirror had become unbearable for him.
He was extremely handsome on the outside. He looked like a soldier should look. He was the poster boy for the army, everyone knew of him regardless of his posistion. They knew of him and they thought he was a hero. It was ironic that he had been such a coward. Living hadnt been worth running. He hated himself for it, it haunted him in his most personal moments and it drove him to the point of insanity. Only the blood of demonic and the rage of war could make him happy. As he tore into countless of them he enjoyed taking their lives as they took his friends and family's lives away. He hated them... he hated everything. He followed her staying about 3 feet behind her.

"Captain, get a chopper ready. we're heading to the Wall to take care of that infestation." she said coldly and the man nodded running ahead. Aries shook her head slowly, and looked ahead. "Whatever." Aries muttered. A burning began in her stomach. Men who didn't follow orders...she pushed the thought out of her mind, and took the stairs two at a time to the bottom floor of the base.
She exited the building and found the Captain standing at attention, next to a running chopper. "Good job. Keep the base in check while I'm gone. Though, I highly doubt that to be possible, seeing as you guys let a Demonic past the defenses, again." she sneered.
The Captain looked down instantly. "Yes ma'am." he said softly.
"Say that again?" Aries said now, crossing her arms over her chest now, waiting for the soldier to answer. The man instantly brought himself back up to attention, "YES MA'AM!" he said forcefully. Aries smiled, "That's better."

Daimon looked at her as if she were an insane demonic once again. He merely watched the man act as if he were a loud obnoxious child and scream out yes mam as if he were speaking to a drill sgt. As if he were at basic training. He watched an officer act like a private addressing a Drill instructor. He smiled, the act was intriguing. He stretched lightly, his muscles were slightly aching as he walked over to the chopper getting inside the back of it. "Director, we need at least 2 gunners for air support mam. If we are over run then they can be there to kill us. Demonic take to long." He laughed , his voice darker then the night.
He leaned back in the seat waiting for her to get in. He hoped she brought a good pilot. He didnt particulary want to die by going down in a heli. That would be a annoying way to die. He would be dieing without purpose. He stretched in the seat as he waited for her.

"Ha! No, love, we're taking them on from the ground. You and I can both run fast. Where they are at, there is an immense amount of metal, and gases that are incredibly flammable. We're going to have fun with this one." she mused sweetly, yet very sadistically. She settled into the seat next to him, and motioned to the pilot.
He nodded and began to take them up. "We'll land about two miles from the site, and we'll run from there. It should only take about 10 minutes to get there, if you run as fast as I think you do." she mused now.
She leaned her head back on the seat, and closed her eyes, instantly becoming rigid. She opened her eyes, and stared at the opposite side of the plane, not saying a word.

"10 minutes?" He chuckled. She thought he was that slow. 2 miles to a regular soldier would be attainable in 10-12 minutes. They were enhanced. "He merely leaned back in the seat. No one told me how slow you were director." He smiled as they took off. He looked out enjoying the view. It reminded him of the past as he looked down. He noted how the war had scared the face of the planet.
His hair blew out of his eyes as they rode. "So, just the two of us. Its like I said earlier director if you die they will likely blame me for not protecting you." He mused. It was his way of letting her know he wasnt a good body guard. Regardless she had survived through moscow which showed she was good at staying alive but he had to let her know that he wasnt the protective type of subordinate. Hell, he was barely a subordinate. He followed orders and uttered the hollow word mam as if it was a catch phrase but it was really all annoying to him. He was there to kill demonic, and try to scavenge what humans he could. She was already dead, just like he was. Moscow killed them, they were casualities of the war regardless if they would admit it or not. Hollow... Empty... Blood dripped down his lip. "Sorry flying gets me antsy." He smiled.

She glanced at him, though a distant look filled her gaze. She then looked away, closing her eyes. She didn't say a word now, thinking to herself. The sound of the chopper reminded her of Moscow. All of the choppers flying above, trying to find survivors. She breathed in slowly, and then opened her eyes. A flash of pain shot up through her leg, and she sighed.
She pulled out a small bottle, and opened it. She took one of the things out, and popped one into her mouth. It'd been a year since Moscow, yet she was still in agony from her injuries. Mostly her knee. She didn't let it control her though, and whether it hurt or not, she fought to her fullest. She then looked at him, and smiled coldly.
"We're not running as fast as we can. We are running as fast as we used to. We're going to save our powers. If you don't follow this order, I'll kill you." she mused, a sadistic smile on her features.

He smiled at her. "So many have uttered that phrase and yet I live. Im not normal remember Director?" He gently ran his fingers through his hair. "How many tainted light have you killed? How many heros?" He laughed now very gently. "Its not the same you see. Its not the same as ripping the heart out of one of your subordinates, Director." He spoke gently. "Mam, I would love to die... but Im cursed." He pulled a knife out and tried to stab himself, the metal shielded his skin instantly. He laughed insanely.
"Ever since moscow... I wanted to die... Lived to die. Lived to see the day when the demonic would tear me limb from limb. That pain would be nothing to that which I feel every second. Its such agony. We are one Director. Mam, we are the same. We are moscow, we are casualties of this war. I love how you back your orders up with threats, is it because your men do not respect you enough to follow them unless you threaten to kill them." He smiled. The way he spoke was polite, it was a way in which he couldn't be courtmarshalled. She could kill him, but that would only give him what he wanted. "Mam, Power is only judged by those who live to see it. I will follow your orders, I swear, but do not threaten me." He laughed gently almost playfully.

Aries said not a word, closing her eyes now. She breathed in slowly, gripping the cloth of the seat firmly. She hated flying. It was something that terrified her, one of the very few things that did so. She listened to him speak, and simply said not a word back. She glanced to him, still not saying anything.
Blood ran out of the corner of her mouth, and she wiped it away, looking distant for a second. She'd bit the corner of her mouth too hard in her anxiousness to get out of the chopper. She still said nothing to him, looking out the window now. She disregarded everything he'd said, and mused softly now.
"They won't blame you if I die. They know it's what I want more than anything else. Yet, I've got a promise to keep, not only to myself, but to those whom died in Moscow." she said softly. She looked at him now, observing him closely for the first time now.

His eyes darkened. "I'm a casualty of Moscow." He spoke gently. "I died there... the real me at least." His voice was dark, a shadow. Hollow. He looked at her as if he could kill her. He then looked out of the window at the landscape below them. "You seem distraught. Why would go into a mission in such a mental state director?" He spoke gently now. "We were both in moscow... You were there when they ripped those you loved into shreads, when they tore their souls out of them." He spoke with a cold tone, but an understanding one.
"When they killed my father and mother. I could do nothing. " He looked at her with his grim eyes. "I could do nothing... What did you do? What did you do that day? That day when everyone you cared about died." He wanted to see how she would react, if she cared like he did. He bit his lip softly. "What did you do? Did you fight... Did you run? How could you fight them as a human I mean. We could do nothing... and I hate it!" He was hysterical now. "As I look at my hands I see the blood flowing down my skin, the blood of everyone I ever loved. And I tell you this now because I wish to know what kind of commander I have." He laughed.

She looked at him calmly, feeling a twinge of guilt rushing right into her stomach. She sighed, smirked, and looked down at the floor of the chopper. A smile lay on her lips. She looked back up at him, meeting his gaze with an intense look. She couldn't help but chuckle.
"No. My family and everyone I loved died 16 years ago. When I was five. Murdered by a hungry homeless man. Though, we were hungry as well. I was born on the streets you see. We had no home, a lot of the times no food." She lifted her chin a bit, showing him a faint scar under her neck. "Almost couldn't save me. And I wish they didn't...but in Moscow, at least I felt that I could at least help a few of the people. Worked really hard to save the children at the Moscow army base. They parents were all killed by a couple Demonic. I saved about 30 kids. I stayed with them most of the time, until the first few choppers arrived and saved them all.
"I continued on though. I refused to go with the children. I knew they'd be safe. I tried to save a lot of other people, but the Demonic always got to them before I could, so I gave up. I became a coward and started to fight for just myself. I didn't want to die then. I wanted to live to see this new war over...
"Yet, when I woke up screaming in a hospital bed, with a prosthetic limb, an artificial knee, and cuts and scratches all over my body, I wanted to die. I wanted to die then so badly. But what kept me from taking my own life was the ideal that maybe I could help make a difference in this war. That I could train men to fight these creatures. That we could eliminate them all and get our world back. But it's not so easy now. And I made a promise when I started Project Tainted Light that I'd save anyone and everyone that I could. And so far I have. I haven't lost a single soul...unlike the hundreds that I lost in Moscow.
"I can't help but to be rude and mean. It's become my nature. Just as you said, i died in Moscow. Yet, i came back with the proposition that we could and would get our world back. That we would fight to the end. That we would never give up until every single one of us was dead. All of these men in this project have made that promise. Thousands, even millions of men. They have made that exact promise to this world. As have I.
"But tell me one thing, did you truly make that promise? Do you promise to stay at my side, and support everything, even if you do not fully agree? I need that promise from you. You are one of the most valuable soldiers in our history, prove to me that you are worthy of that title." she noted softly now, gazing at him with such an intensity. She seemed out of character, almost hoping that he hadn't rejected the ideals she'd stated. If he did, how was she to trust him to stay in the position he was in currently?
She looked away, breathing in slowly. She began to chuckle at herself. "I'm pathetic..." she whispered, shaking her head now.

"pathetic? Director... Your not pathetic. I was there." He leaned against the seat now. "Soldier, understand this, we are the same you and I. We are the same as all the survivors of moscow are the same. We aren't what we used to be. We aren't human. Dont you feel the blood of the very thing you hate most in this world coursing through your veins in its infinite void that is the darkness of our souls. We sacrificed ourselves for this world. You are not a coward, I am. You stayed and fought, I fled." He admited it and it stung him to do so.
"I clung to life. I clung, to life..." He repeated. "Its a horrible way to exist, running and running. I saw them die. I saw my mother and father being ripped to shreads in front of me. The demonic are pitiful. They are disgusting, it makes me want to kill myself every time I look at my blood. We are dead, soldier. We are dead, soldier..." He leaned in and whispered in her ear. "We died in moscow." He laughed cruelly.
"The oath, to follow orders, to stay at your side. To support everything you command. I already pleged that when I took the creed. Its not within your powers to make me pledge a personal oath. Its a soldiers job to follow orders. A soldier is defined as a living being that serves a master. Do you live director?" He laughed softly. "Im here to kill demonic, Im here to rid the world of them. If your orders do not harm my goal I will follow them, in this I swear. Is this good enough for you Mam?" He leaned against the seat.
"You treat your men like dogs." He spoke at last. "I have never seen officers, cry like little girls, scury out of a single persons prescense to avoid them. Is it undying loyality or do they just fear you." He laughed. "Today I saw a Colonel act like a child. I saw a captain scream. Officers dont scream mam, so I ask you why." He smiled at her.

She listened to him quietly. "Yes, the real me died in Moscow. But a new me began to live with the founding of this project. And I won't die again without a fight." she said coldly. She looked up at him now, a smirk on her features.
"I treat my men like dogs, because that is what they are. They are dogs of the military. They chose this life, and now they have to endure it." she said sweetly, her voice turning sadistic. She ran her fingers through her long red hair, pulling the tie holding it back out. Her long tresses fell over her shoulders, and she pushed them off to rest on her back.
"Get ready. We'll be landing in about 2 minutes." she noted now, looking at a clock that was placed on the small wall above the door to the cockpit. She glanced to him, and grinned. "Let it be a blood bath, General." she mused.
